(Paintings Projected On Paintings)
One is doing something and then doing that thing again and then doing another thing and then doing that thing again and then doing the one thing and then the other thing and that one certainly would be doing some other thing and doing that other thing again and would be then doing another thing and would be doing that thing again and would then be doing the one thing and then would be doing the other if that one were not doing the things that one is doing in being one being living.
Certainly some are ones completely being living to themselves inside them.
Some of such of them are ones being ones doing some thing and another thing and doing the one thing and the other thing and doing them again and doing them again and doing them again and again.

Since 1987 Berkowski has worked on the development of a personal language. A system of drawings that works (functions) as maps and diagrams and serves to explain and clarify, to plan and connect everything from the personal to the production of his art works.
While normally in the background as an accompanying strata, the series of the (Titled) Daily Paintings moves the diagrams to the fore front. They are painted on 2m high canvases and paired with a quote from a newspaper of the same day. While the pairing happens by coincidence the series creates a bi-level novel: an enigmatic diary along with a text that presents a conditio humana assembled from fragments of public media)
At Lavomatique Berkowski will show a digital projection of all 1087 works from the series, projected on a primed canvas, a movie of more than four hours.
